Madison's Birthday Party

This post is a few days late, but nonetheless, here are the highlights from Madison's birthday party...and of course a BIG thanks to our wonderful family for celebrating with us, we are so blessed to have you all in our lives!

Jake was super excited for his little sister's party!

Mady and Aunt Nicole...this was taken towards the end of the party, hence Mady's somewhat disheveled appearance (the picture doesn't do it justice but she really was a sticky mess).

Jake was more than happy to help open Mady's gifts.

However, the birthday girl quickly discovered that she liked opening her own gifts much more than letting her brother do it for her...sorry Jakey-poo it'll be your turn in a few months!

Madison was beside herself when she saw this adorable baby doll that Aunt Erin gave her.

The joy on her little face was just priceless!

Jake decided to use one of the ribbons...

...apparently to turn himself into a ninja...I think he had some help with this one (Daddy or Aunt Heather I'm guessing!)

Blowing out Mady's one candle

This one's a bit blurry but I had to add it...Jake heard that we were cutting the cake so he quickly grabbed a toy knife that goes with their food/kitchen set and helped himself to some icing. He can move pretty fast when there's cake involved!

Mady, on the other hand, wasn't quite sure what to make of her cake.

She was surprisingly hesitant

Finally she decided to give it a whirl...and of course now she's hooked!

Me and my Mady girl...I love her.
