Jake is Three!!!

I can't believe that our Jacob is now 3 years-old! We had a great time celebrating his birthday as a family and we look forward to continuing the fun tomorrow with either a trip to the zoo or xbos. We've had fun over the last few days reflecting on how much our boy has learned over the past year and we are just so proud of him. He is so full of energy and he keeps us on our toes pretty much all of the time with the different things he gets into. Jake is our little engineer...always wanting to know how everything works and trying to figure out ways to take things apart and then put them back together again.

It's also fun to see how much he loves to help with everything we're doing...cooking, baking, projects around the house...he always wants to be a part of it and he's actually a really good helper. We're also enjoying watching Jake take on his role as a big brother...when he's not pestering his sister he really does a great job of watching out for her and making sure she stays out of trouble. We can't wait to see what this next year will bring for our boy and we're just so blessed to have him as our son. We love you Jakey!!!
